THE TEAM:

 

Linton Stutely – Driver coach and Technical Advisor

 

Linton is highly respected in the Formula Ford paddock for his driving career with race wins and regular podiums to his name, including becoming the Avon Clubmans Formula Ford Champion in 2005 and winning the John Nicol trophy for being the best British driver at the Formula Ford Festival in 2007. Now he turns his attention to the position of Team Principal and plans to pass on his knowledge to the drivers of Enigma Motorsport. He graduated from University in 2008 with a BSc (Hons) in Motorsport Technology.

 

 

 

Thomas Farquhar – Number One Mechanic

 

Thomas is highly experienced in preparing British Formula Ford machinery from 5 years of working with Linton and most recently worked with top Formula Ford team Getem Racing, helping them finish second in the Teams Championship in 2008. Like Linton, Tom also has a BSc (Hons) in Motorsport Technology and is co founder of Enigma Motorsport.

 

 

 

Craig Butchart – Number Two Mechanic

 

Craig recently graduated from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) where he studied a BSc (Hons) in Motorsport Operations. He has 3 years of Club Formula Ford and Duratec level experience. In his spare time is a keen kart racer as well as a rally co-driver for the X2B Rally Car Team.

 

 

 

Phil Wills - Engineering Consultant

 

Phil had a major influence in advising Linton and Tom when they started Enigma and he also plays a big role in the setup of the car and team structure. Although he is very rarely seen at races, he still constantly advises Enigma. He has over 20 years of experience in Formula Ford and many other series. In this time he has won Championship after Championship, with drivers such as Mark Webber, Kimi Raikkonen, Kristian Kolby, Joey Foster and too many others to list…
